"continuing care"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I just wanted to share my experience with others on my views of the dermatology department, in November 2014 I had a minor operation to remove a lesion from my lower leg, the Doctor and the nurse were extremely kind and helpful and I was left with minimal pain. Sadly this lesion turned out to be malignant melanoma, this turned my world upside down, however the continuous support, kindness and understanding I am receiving from my care team is outstanding, nothing is to much bother and this is a real help when dealing with cancer. From being diagnosed I have had scans, another operation to remove cancer(thankfully) and am continuing to receive first class treatment. Thank you so much and in particular to a member of staff for your continuous support and to another staff member for helping me with my wound from my first op x x
