I feel it was Disorganised. Shambolic. Filthy, and i seen the Nursing staff struggling to communicate, to read and to write. I was forgotten about.
I had a procedure without sedative/pain killers for the apparent reason it would allow me to be discharged quicker i feel.
I was left on a trolley soiled with blood and faecal matter from the procedure and ended up finding my belongings myself and changing clothes and just leaving. I felt my personal dignity was ignored.
I feel anyone should Avoid at all costs. I had a similar procedure at Queen Mary's Day Unit in Sidcup, a unit which I can only describe as spectacularly good in every way.
Based on what I experienced at the QEH day unit, I have transferred all of my care to Princess Royal University Hospital in Orpington. Different world.
