"Ward 15 Acute Fantastic Care"

About: Leicester General Hospital

My Father admitted to Ward 15 Acute, after being transferred from another hospital very seriously ill at the age of 78. I cannot thank the Staff enough, from the word go they took care of my Dad in such a professional, efficient manner, they also allowed me to stay with him day and night which was very reassuring. The ward was clean and all staff from Ward Sister to cleaners excellent. I should like to thank in particular a nurse, in my opinion this lady reinforces the true meaning of nursing, brilliant, caring in every sense, she fought to save my Dad and he is making a slow but steady recovery.

Dear reviewer Thank you so much for your lovely comments. Your feedback really will give the team on ward 15 a boost. They will be genuinely delighted to learn that your father is improving. If you have a moment could you possibly email communications@uhl-tr.nhs.uk with the name of your father and the name of the nurse who cared for him – if you know it. This will help us ensure the nurse in question knows how your father is doing and receives the praise she clearly deserves! Thank you again, Communications Team Leicester’s Hospital
