Although this is a private hospital and I came as an NHS patient I did not feel a second class patient in any respect. I was treated very well. I had surgery on my shoulder and I felt that coming round afterward, which following previous experiences was the part I dreaded, was handled so gently and kindly I felt extremely safe and cared for. During the night, post surgery my pain was kept under control and every need was met. The cleanliness and the food and all the other practical details were all first class and added to an awareness of everyone and everything working toward healing and recovery. Afterward I had several sessions with the Physio and she booked me in for extras as I needed them. I feel my shoulder's recovery from what was a major tear in the muscle, has been due to the excellent care of the staff of this hospital and I would recommend everyone to choose this option if it is available to them. I only wish that the NHS hospitals would look and learn from what they do in places like Goring Hall because it is not about money, just care and cleanliness and staff who treat their patients with respect and kindness.
"The best experience of hospital ever!"
