"Experience of OP treatment for macular problem"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

I was referred here from a consultant, the care was exceptional (I am outside of Sheffeild). The staff were professional and caring. The procedure was stressful and the problem was worrying. They were supportive, discussed the results with me and when I had a slight reaction to a xray medium first class immediate treatment. The area was spotlessly clean. My only slight complaint were the reception staff and HCA's who were loud and talking incessantly about what they were doing at the weekend. Oh and please do ask them not to call a 60 yr old Dr sweetheart, but overall wonderful dept and thank you for such good treatment.

Thank you for letting us have your thoughts on your recent care within the Ophthalmology Department at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital. It is always nice for staff to hear that the care they provide is appreciated and I will ensure these are passed onto the staff involved. I will also pass on your comments regarding inappropriate address and loud personal conversations. I hope you are recovering well form your procedure
