"The 18 week promise?"

About: Hereford County Hospital

Having waited now for 62 weeks for a procedure to remove silicon debris from my eye, a throwback to detached retinas repaired some 30 years ago. I do question your stated confirmation in you correspondance that 'from diagnosis to treatment will be completed in 18 weeks'. Having had my appointment for this Thursday cancelled for the second time, yesterday morning, 'due to an emergency', appparently known about 4½ days in advance, I am again left undoing all of the arrangements made for the day. Needless to say, it is now unknown when a 'new' appointment will be available and do I have confidence that it will be honoured, no. Will it be a case of third time lucky, who knows.
