"My daughters care in A&E"

Whilst returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic on Saturday 1st February my daughter became unwell with severe vomiting and diarrhoea. We were directed to your A & E department by the staff at Gatwick airport as we are not from the area. When we arrived in the department we were greeted by the reception staff who dealt with us swiftly. We awaited for her to be triaged, which was not very long and as soon as that initial assessment was made she was very quickly moved through the department for further intervention and treatment. We just wanted to say thank you to all of the staff involved medical and nursing who were friendly, professional and understanding. After a few hours we were able to leave for our journey to the North East of England. Although my daughter still remains unwell and has required further tests, the staff made a difficult time bearable. Thank you.
