"Not one person said sorry"

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services / General surgery

(as the patient),

Today I was due to have day surgery at the George Eliot hospital. I was asked to be there for 8am and I arrived way before my time I didn't eat or drink or take my medication as requested I got seen by the surgeon and then the anaesthetist and got cleared for my operation I then got left to wait for four hours with drips in. Then the nurse come up to me and said I have some bad news the anaesthetist isn't doing your operation today you can go home we will send you a letter with a new date.

They then took my drips out and discharged me. I traveled one and a half hours to get there to be sent all the way home.

Not one person said sorry just blamed everyone else! !
