"My son hurt his leg"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

We attended the A&E of Hairmyres Hospital last night - it was clearly very busy indeed, but we were seen quicker than I expected, the staff were really nice and communicated very clearly. I was pleasantly surprised.

Dear Lsfather,

Thank you for sharing your experience of your child's care at Hairmyres. It is always worrying when your child is injured and I am pleased that you found the staff to be pleasant and articulate.

I will share this with the staff who I am sure will be very pleased as I know they are working very hard to provide safe, effective and person centred care every time.

Kind regards

Rosemary Lyness

Executive Nurse Director
