"no joy in obtaining an appointment for a treadmill..."

after receiving a letter in sept from dvla to make an appoint ment via meway cardiacunit to have a treadmill test done i phoned the secratry was told they hadnt received letter ,left it a few days and phoned again had paperwork to go to the doctor for sighning then appointment could be made waited some time then phoned again dr and sec on holiday, waited again phoned again then sec off sick was told would be in next day phoned wasnt. eventually after some 3 to 4weeks the paperwork was passed to the doctor waited another 3 weeks the doctor still not sighned paperwork off so app could be made complained to pals who asked the doctor to sign off paperwork he did not pals team left paperwork on his chair so he could not miss it he still never signed it off .so still no appointment could be made.ended up going private and having to pay at another hospital, the test has been done and a decision given by dvla.these delays caused stress and money now jan 31st medway sent a letter to dvla saying we never made an appointment. absolute discusting adminisration and the cost to me has been extensive , but to make out we never made an appointment is a down and outright lie and was due to the doctor not sighning paperwork long after i had been to another hospital and got seen and tested i shall be taking the matter further
