I have recently returned home from Bolton hospital after a two night stay having experienced a seemingly 'atypical' reaction from a tonsillectomy. Although the experience was very difficult (and painful!) for me and seemingly unexpected for the staff, the A+E, ENT and Ward F4 departments, finally fixed me. I would like to thank all involved for their help and support and patience. (Please could you forward this feedback to the departments concerned?)
