"diabetes type 2"

About: Huddersfield Royal Infirmary / Diabetic medicine NHS 111

(as the patient),

I was feeling unwell and my daughter phoned 111. Eventually I saw a doctor at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and I was diagnosed as having type 2 diabetes with a reading of 30. 2. I was admitted to the hospital and stayed therefor three days. I now take two Gliclazide 80mg tablets daily. I test myself about three times a week. I am never higher than 7. 0 but often less than 3. 0. My doctor suggested that I have a mid morning drink and a biscuit which I have found to help.
