Been having really sharp pains in my chest and other symptoms also similar to when I had pleurisy also had other issues I had lost a stone lately and had pains in my kidney and had been told not long ago from a scan I had a fatty liver, but today it had got extreme and I thought the usual stuff they give me would sort it, I also suffer from Diabetes 2 high BP. , I phoned the out of hours they told me that due to my answers to the questions their assessment tool stated a ambulance should be called I declined this offer because I did not want to take the time up of a ambulance. A nurse from Waters meeting place contacted me and again offered an ambulance and I said the same, she then instructed me to go to A& E immediately and tell reception I needed a ECG, I felt my heart was ok but she told me to get treatment I had to do this first, thought this would be a good thing if all my symptoms are connected as I have no confidence in GPs they blame everything on Diabetes 2 and high blood pressure. By the time I arrived I was heavy breathing and feeling faintish but the pain in my chest was happening every 10 mins or so. When i arrived A&E no one was queuing at the reception where there was 2 admin chatting I was feeling rough and they let me lean on a post until they took my details, I was leaning for at least a minute until she gave me her attention I found her manner very off with no skills of customer skills in sight. She sent me to the seating for Triage, waited 20 mins which I was told before chest pains were a priority that's why I was sent there. Triage nurse was completely rude very cold with no empathy, after 5 mins sat again a nurse came for me and I must admit got me on ECG vey quickly I told her my heart should be ok and tried to tell her about my other symptom's but kept turning away and didn't seem interested, once in a cubicle her and auxiliary, a mature man who was the nicest there, only person who seemed to have a good bedside manner, did the ECG then asked me questions but every time I tried to answer she walked away twice and then talked to a Dr who I could hear so she didn't have the full facts and symptoms to give as she didn't listen to make a accurate assessment. Due to his conclusion he stated it was because I had not taking my pills today because I was in a rush to get to them I also had nothing to eat. She then told me to go and sit in reception and off she went, I came out of the cubicle due to the way I was feeling was totally disoriented and staggered a bit the auxiliary came over and help me sit down in the seating that is as you walk into the treatment area, other patients were sat there, I sat there feeling faint and even had to lean my head on the wall, the same nurse appeared again and told me I cant sit there and frog marched me to reception she could see I was struggling, I then decided this was ridiculous, I have lost faith in their care and treatment she just said ok if that's what you want and I staggered out
"Lost confidence and walked , ended at home with no..."
