About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Me & my 7 yr old daughter, Lucy-Willow, spent 8 nights on the childrens ward F63. She was very well looked after, although visits from the Doctor were very sparse & took hours to arrive! Ward F63 is fantastic :) Patients & parents are well looked after, with a kitchen on the ward & another (plus a parent sitting room) on Ward 64. All the staff looked after my daughter very well, but there are a few exceptions that were extra fantastic & helped my daughter's stay to be as happy as possible. Three of the nurses are wonderful women who went out of their way to help a very frightened little girl & I will be forever grateful to them. We will both miss them very much xxxx

Thank you for taking the time to leave such positive feedback. We will ensure this is shared with the team on Ward F63. Coming into hospital can be extremely distressing for both children and their parents and we are pleased that the staff did everything they could to ensure your stay was as comfortable as possible. We hope that she has continued to make a good recovery at home.
