"I have received letter of referral ..."

I have received letter of referral from my GP for my 5 year old son to see a specialist with regards to a problem the GP could not solve. The letter advised me to use the new 'Choose and Book' system. I logged onto the nhs website as instructed and Southmead Hospital was the only option available to me 'Paediatric Urology - Paediatric Surgery - Southmead - RVJ' yet when I tried to book an appointment the following text appeared 'There are currently no appointments available, please try again later.' No timescales are given for when to 'try again later' - this 'new and improved' system hasn't worked well for me, as far as I can see I or my son are no further forward than we were before we went to see my GP. I am not impressed!!!!!
