Choice, care and support

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

(as the patient),

Totally outweighs Pinderfields, the care and support is a brilliant.

I frequent both services but always ask for Dewsbury as I feel more at ease, and you can feel relaxed and not left in a corner.

I say don't knock it because it's not a modern building, its the staff that make it!

Thank you for your kind comments regarding the care you have rceived at Dewsbury and District Hospital.

We agree that there is a special atmosphere at Dewsbury and this, as you rightly say, is due to the committment of the staff and the pride they have in the service they deliver.

Dewsbury will continue to be a very important facility for the Trust, as reflected by the plans for investment in the site.

When you do have plans for the future please remember the patients and don't do what Pinderfields has done by making visiting a hospital a nightmare, e.g. parking, car park fees, and no sense of compassion....and care!
