"Five days to return my call for help with my week old baby"

On Friday at 11.30pm I called our Midwife regarding a problem with my one week old baby. The message (as no one answered) asked me to leave my phone number and they would get back to me within 48 hours of my call. I also called the Cheltenham General Hospital luck for me and spoke to a Midwife who was most helpful; she told me what to do, but said I should speak to our Midwife - which I told her I couldn't get hold of. On the following Tuesday at 10am, my wife had a call from the Midwife five days late! If this had been an emergency situation, I would be telling a very different story now! I am very concerned about the lack of service we received in the Bredon area.
