"Phlebotomy Department Staff"

About: Altrincham General Hospital

Arrived at 12pm took ticket number 28, ticket 21 was being seen, heard phlebotomy nurse saying to the person she was seeing that she would be going to lunch after seeing them, when the patient had left I put my head into the cubical and asked how many staff were on now, she said herself and on other, I said I could not wait and put the sample bag which besides the blood forms held a urine sample on the table in the cubical and left, half way down the isle the phlebotomy nurse comes out shouting that she does not want my forms and how dare I be so rude to her, I said there was a urine sample in the bag and carried on down the isle, she carried on shouting in front of all of the other patients and followed me to the door, I turned around and said I had not been rude to her or as she was shouting thrown the sample bag at her, I informed her I was a fasting diabetic and would she please leave me alone, as I came out of the isle and on to the corridor she carried on shouting after me as I left the building. I get home and ring the hospital to complain, they put me through to a secretary who cannot help, I was then put through to PALS at Christies only to find they are all on leave until March 3 (4 days away), I get another couple of numbers from the switchboard which ring out for a while and then are picked up and put down at the same time, finally given a number for a manager and left a message, no response.
