"25 min op"

Picked my mum up at 11.30 to take her on a 30 min journey to Mexborough Montagu for her cataract op. We finely got home at 18.50. The op went well and I can't praise the staff enough but there must be a better appointment system to one which gives all patients the same admission time. Most of them like my mum (79) were elderly and to make them sit and wait with no drink or food for over 5 hours wether they are kept informed or not is in my opinion complete madness. The op it's self took 25 mins!
