"Poor service"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital

In 2011 my husband was losing weight, had poor appetite and was very tired and felt unwell. He was referred to a Consultant at Canterbury & Kent Hospital. This person was extremely rude to both my husband & I, more so because I as a retired Nursing Sister, questioned his attitude and diagnosis of my husband 's Symptoms. After which he deliberately refused to include me in the conversation and ended the consultation by telling my husband that he was obese! He had already lost 10 Kgs in weight and was certainly never obese. He did send my husband for a scan and at the follow up appointment he avoided looking at me as his diagnosis had been totally incorrect and my husband was informed that he had Liver Cancer and was referred to Kings College Hospital. My husband sadly passed away in March 2013. The treatment and the attitude of this Consultant will stay with me for the rest of my life.
