What I liked

The appointment with the consultant was very good. She was friendly and sympathetic and treated both of us with respect. The other staff that we encounteered at this appointment were simalary friendly and helpful. We left with very positive feelings about the hospital.

What could be improved

The follow up appointment for an ultasound scan was far from satisfactory. The technician was neither friendly nor sympathetic. In addition the layout of the ultasound room meant that it was not possible for anyone to comfort and support the patient during the examination. This has not been the case in any of the 6 or so other ultasound examination rooms the we have been in. We left with far less positive views.
