I attended out outpatients Cardiology Clinic C today 27th January 2014 was seen by the consultant's registrar. His first mistake was to ask how I'd been since last September, my wife had to tell him I'd had another heart attack on Dec 13th and 2 more stents to unblock my right side . He did then find the procedure on the computer. He then asked of anymore problems, again we asked about the internal bleed they said I'd got about the cysts found on my kidneys again he knew none of this despite my notes in front of of him. He checked my hemoglobin reports to which he said he'd write to my G.P and I was to ask him for a camera! Finally he asked if I wanted to be seen again, obviously now anxious I said yes I'll was given and appointment for 12mths and told to my G.P if any problems. To a trained eye my case must seem pretty routine but having had 4 heart attacks and 3 procechues for stents in less than a year, after giving such glowing reports of my stays on Wards 18,20 & 33, although very grateful to the surgeon's and staff. My last visit has tainted my previous outlook.
