"Pre Op Assessment"

About: University Hospital Aintree

Currently sitting in pre op assessment waiting room. Informed on arrival there would be a 2 hour wait - it has been nearly 4 hours now & still no sign of being seen &no communication regarding the delay Facilities in the building seem dirty. The restaurant had dirty seats, messy tables & food on floor. Public toilets near entrance look like in the middle of a renovation project. 2 loos had broken flushes I am accompanying a patient being treated by RMFU for a recent cancer diagnosis. The treatment & excessive waits at this site are far from satisfactory & are causing more stress at an already stressful time
