Today I tried to make an appointment in orthotics as told to do so 6 months ago by the orthotic dep. My daughter had originally been referred to paediatrics suffering with leg and feet pain, and subsequently referred to orthotics.
The paediatrician was happy with the progress my daughter was making in orthotics and wished us to continue. She discharged us from paediatrics but wanted us to continue with the foot cups.
Now I have to make an appointment with my G.P to be re referred back to orthotics. I can't help wondering, if this is a money saving scam by wasting GPs' time?
"Is this deliberate time wasting?"
