"Abysmal and disgraceful"

About: Warwick Hospital

Pain management clinic which I daresay regularly sees people with acute back pains had no orthopedic chairs in the waiting room and the chairs in place were far from comfortable. My appointment was 40 odd minutes late despite me arriving on time. At least the receptionist and triage nurses were friendly enough and apologetic about the wait, not that I made any fuss about anything. A student was already in with the so called specialist for my appointment which makes you feel obliged to not refuse their presence, however due to my severe psychological conditions, this presence greatly undermines my ability to be fully open about other conditions when asked. I presented the so called pain specialist with 6 areas of pain concerns, five of which have been severe or extremely severe for decades and are all ongoing yet only one was area was addressed at all. I was treated with outright contempt to my person which made me feel yet again my negative employment status was greatly affecting my health care and my conditions were just being pushed to one side. A wild analogy was attempted to be used against me that bore little to no relevance to my conditions that effectively attempted to put the blame onto me for my conditions. The physical examination made was both degrading and worthless as it totally failed to take into account certain criteria needs to be met before I suffer with the additional extreme sciatic pains I still get and I was then declared as cured. It was then recommended I perform more of the tasks I know to cause a fast and severe exacerbation of my conditions. In short it seems to me it is becoming commonplace within the NHS that qualifications is replacing basic common sense at incredible speed.
