"Thank you for the kind care during my operation"

I am a Staff Nurse in A&E Doncaster Royal Infirmary and was petrified when i was diagnosed with appendicitis. I was referred to Surgical Assessment Ward by my GP. Can i say a huge thankyou to all the staff involved in my care, even though the percentage of them knew me, they were very professional,caring, informative & reassuring. In particular Kate the Sister on S.A.W, the Anaesthetic/Theatre/Recovery staff, Miss Robinson Surgical Consultant & Dr Khan the Registrar, and also the Staff on ward 20 again in particular Dan and Laura the Staff Nurses.

It was a stressful time made so much easier by the care and attention i received. I hope i was not too much of a burden, im recovering well, many thanks to all the staff in general who i have not mentioned personally,and also to my work place for their support&visits!, i am very appreciative and proud to know these teams work within the place i am employed.
