I've been seeing my doctor for approximately 18mths with the same problems and still don't have any answers. I have never been referred on for tests or offered a second opinion. Half the time I'm not being listened to - or my questions are being ignored. Existing conditions that I do have medication for, are not checked periodically to see if what I am receiving is still appropriate to the condition. Nothing is ever explained re treatment being given or why it is necessary, how long it will need to be taken for, etc.
The doctor is friendly in general so I wondered if she lacks medical expertise and is afraid of giving the game away.
