"Hernia Op needed - 13 weeks and waiting,,,,,,"

About: Good Hope Hospital

I was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia on Sunday November 10 2013 by my Consultant. I am having considerable discomfort and difficulty "putting it back" and it has had a major effect on my normally active life. Nothing heard from Good Hope about a date. I appreciate this is not as urgent as many other patients, but 13 + weeks is simply unacceptable, what is going on?? George.
