"The remote control on the bed."

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

(as the patient),

What I liked

The remote control on the bed.

What could be improved

The actual nursing care. The nurses issued medication, took blood pressure and temperature but there was no actual nursing care. I was left to struggle with trying to keep myself clean after a major operation. My dressing was checked by the consultant the day after my operation and again on the morning of my discharge from hospital but it was not looked at or checked by any nursing staff during my stay.

Anything else?

Used bed pans left on floor of toilet area making the area hazardous and unhygenic.
