After visiting my dentist she advised me I needed to have all wisdom teeth removed and one normal tooth as one of my wisdom teeth had broken it and was beyond repair I attended my usual practice to have my normal tooth extracted which failed as I was in too much pain even after 4 injections so they said I would be referred to birmingham dental hospital it has now been 6 weeks and I haven't recieved any letter after trying to contact them several times I feel im bashing by head off a wall the pain I am in is like nothing ive ever had before no ammount of pain killers or antibiotics have done anything I have been on hold for in excess of an hour every time I try to chase up my referal which is my lunch break gone I work all other hours the switch board is open so only have the hour and still not managed to speak to anybody its a joke especially considering I have paid almost £100 for my dentist to perform part of the procedure which wasnt completed so an absolute waste of money and a holiday day I didnt need in the end. I really dont know what to do to chase my referral or get rid of the pain I am in. My dentist practice have said they cant help me as they have already sent my case to birmingham. Its a disgrace of a system god knows what to expect if I ever make it to the hospital but it looks a very bleak outcome.
