My mum was bought to Ae department on 25 January by ambulance,we found her at home badly suffering from sickness and diarrhoea for few days which she never told anyone,when we got to Ae between 5-6 pm,she was admitted straight away,I can't stress how quick she was seen and was given a cubicle straight away,they did her bloods and put a canula as she was badly dehydrated and in pain,the doctor came straight away they were amazing,so much professionalism shown,he was so good ,kept us updated every 10 minutes what he was doing,my mums ECG shown something not right which he picked up straight away and made us aware and told us he would like to transfer her to glen fields Hosp so they can monitor her heart even when she had no chest pains,but his concerns may have saved her life ,I can't thank enough for the care provided and The lovely nurse who looked after her there ( I didn't take her name).I have been to few Aes in my lifetime but the care provided at royal infirmary was amazing !i thank everyone for all what they did,and a brilliant trainee doctor who will definitely be a wonderful and caring doctor!
