"Older mothers procedure"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

Was taken from same day in patient ward to have procedure and after couple of hours, I kept returning to ward she was going to be taken back to but no one knew where she was or how much longer she'd be.

I had been at the Hospital for 5 hours and even then I was then told visiting was at 2 pm.

My mother is 85 and I don't think she'd much like not having one of us there when she came to ward as scared when went for procedure.

I think there should be more information available, maybe a waiting room for relatives with updates for relatives as to patients whereabouts.
