"i liked the way i was treated ..."

About: Countess Of Chester Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

i liked the way i was treated after i'd had my misscariage and after my d&c,the staff at the out patients centre were lovely with me and seemed to really care what i was going through

What could be improved

when i went for my 12week scan,i was told i'd misscarried and my baby had died,i was very upset but the lady doing the scan didn't seen to bother (i was just another 1 of the people she had to break the news to,as if it was all in a days work for her) then i went to speak to a midwife about what they'd found on the scan,i was obviously in tears but the midwife didn't seem to bother about me and carried on telling me what they'd found instead of thinking about my feelings, when she had finished what she'd had to say,i asked what happened next, she said wait untill you bleed then come back and we'll go from there, which i thought was a horrible thing to say...just like the other lady,it was all in a days work for her but for me i'd never been through anything like that before,at the time i didn't want to do anything about it but now i think people should know they don't have to be treated in that way and it's ok to tell somebody and not feel bad for doing it! i am now 37weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby (i already have a 4year old) and upto now have been treated very well at all my appointements that i've had,i just hope that this kind of treatment carries on through my labour and as long as i stay in hospital for
