"Top Marks To Coronary Care Unit at RCH Treliske"

I spent 10 days in the Coronary Care Unit at Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske from 20th-30 May 2013 prior to heart surgery necessarily conducted elsewhere. I can only echo the comments expressed by Mr Peter Jackson (21st January 2014) concerning his experience of the Coronary Care Unit. In my case all of the doctors, nurses and support staff in the CCU were wonderful, their professionalism, caring and cheerful attitudes were outstanding and made my stay quite memorable. I was treated with dignity and respect at all times and my test results were readily explained to me. The food service was also good and I looked forward to mealtimes. The ward itself was always clean and cheerful and the teamwork particularly amongst the always busy nurses was very evident and a pleasure to see. From a patient perspective the ward appeared to be well managed and I was more than happy with my stay there. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience of this ward. I would have no hesitation in recommending it and would like to say again a big Thank You to all the staff for all they did for me. I would also like to thank the Cardiology team who conducted my stress test for their professionalism and their timely input.
