"Lots of good a little not so"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

92 yr old mother, fractured pelvis and pneumonia last year, stroke this week. Very caring staff, cleanliness also good, communication though needs a lot to be desired. No one realised Mum had oesteoperosis, recent fractured pelvis, bad heart and unable to walk unaided and were trying to get her to walk! She was strapped into a chair so she was upright but because of the oesteoperosis she sits in a reclining chair normally or lots of cushions behind her. When I asked if they had read her notes I was told that they didn't have time. Generally though we are pleased with her care!

Thank you for your very kind comments regarding the care provided and cleanliness of the ward. It is always nice for the Trust to hear when things go well and we are very pleased that your mother received good care.
