"The ward showers"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Mental Health Services for Older People – Inpatient

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

At our patients meeting on the 21/01/14 concerns were voiced regarding the showers. One shower the water drainage has become too slow and the sensor shower hasn't been set to allow time for a wash!

Thank you for raising concerns about the shower. I can report that the timings have been changed on the sensor showers so that thay stay on for longer. We are having some trouble sourcing affordable sqeegee mops through the supplies unit, but our Care and Environment coordinator is on the case.

Perhaps you can let the staff know if the shower timeings are ok for you now? We'll let you know through the patients meetings, as we did yesterday how we are progressing with mop purchasing.

thanks again for pointing out difficulties with the facilities its important to us that our services meet your needs
