"Emergency ectopic rupture surgery"

About: Barnet Hospital

I suffered a rare (live) ectopic pregnancy in October and was blue lighted to Barnet A&E following twice collapsing at home and a rupture. On arrival to A&E, I received immediate treatment and the crash team in attendance were compassionate, respectful and all together a wonderful team. I owe my life to my Consultant Surgeon as I was in shutdown on arrival. Rushed to theatre and again received very caring and considerate treatment. On transfer to Willow Ward, I was in great pain and very emotional and I found the staff professional and efficient whilst caring. I was lucky but without the care received, things could have been very different.
