I came in to be induced due to reduced movements after a fall. I was induced at 4pm on tuesday. 24hrs later I should have been checked. In that time I was ignored brushed off and they forgot to monitor my baby and me and in the end I waited 27hrs before I was checked. They then told me I would be 3rd in line to go up to delivery ward to have my waters broken. I have watched 3 people leave my bay now to go up. They told me at 1am your next deffenitly. Its now 6am and I had to go out 6times just to get 1 dose of paracetamol because they just kept forgetting. When I asked them about how much longer ill be waiting I got the same answe I got at 2am "soon". The midwives have told me I'm not in labour but I am having strong contractions close together and have been dilating slowly all day. I feel they are brushing me off because I'm only young and they think they can get away with it. I will be making a formal complaint about the way I have been treated,ignored, spoken to and brushed off. I certainly will never be giving birth here again. What a awful first delivery this is going to be. Both me and my partner are very upset with it as we wanted our first baby to be born stressfree and have a good 1st experiance. Absolutely devestated.
