About: Shotley Bridge Hospital Site

I called to collect my mother from this hospital today. The staff were pleasant, professional and friendly. They were busy but worked well together. I have not been able to walk for 2 months, so I had put off making an appointment to get an x ray. The lady in reception noticed the delay and offered an appointment straight away. The only problem is my mother never applied for a disabled badge for a car, and now at 88years old is unable to walk more than a few steps. I have suffered with sciatica for months now and at present walking is very painful, A temporary badge from reception to park in the disabled bay would have made life a lot easier as the car park is quite a distance away. Top marks for not charging a parking fee. I would recommend Shirley Bridge hospital, I was really impressed with the service.
