What a shame that you cannot feedback on individual departments. Daughter has just given birth in the delivery suite here - absolutely fantastic service and had I been rating them, it would have been full stars all the way. However, being transferred onto the ante natal ward was a depressing soul destroying experience where she was put in a side room and saw no one for a full twelve hours. It wasn't until she asked the nurse in charge if they had, in fact, forgotten she was there that she was assigned a second year midwife to help her try to feed naturally!? Such an important skill to learn being taught by a student! And to leave a new first time mum unattended for that amount of time, especially after a traumatic birth, is disgraceful, regardless of how busy you report you are! Business is not an excuse for poor care! So, delivery suite - 5 stars, cannot fault Orchard ward - you could learn a lot from your delivery suite colleagues!
