I was discharged a few hours ago from Gardenia ward. I would like to thank all the nurses and other staff for really looking after me... Usually, I hate hospitals and as a result have self discharged on several occasions infact, I sometimes find it easier lying in bed ill at home rather than go to a/e due to the waiting times but this time I didn't have to wait at all and was given a cubicle in a/e immediately as I was very poorly... I was moved to Gardenia ward within 5 hours of my arrival at a/e.. The staff were very caring and made sure I was comfortable at all times.. I was really well looked after, medications were administered on time, food was nice and nurses even responded to the buzzers immediately... The ward was also cleaned very regularly.. I've been admitted in king George several times, but I have to say the nursing staff in Gardenia ward are totally the best... For once I didn't self discharge instead I patiently waited till the doctors were happy to let me go home; record broken! Thank u to all the gardenia ward nursing team and a thank u to the health care assistants and of courses the lovely doctors in a/e and gardenia ward..:)
