I have just got back from Good Hope hospital after taking my partner for an appointment. I always wondered why the hospital had ben renamed "No Hope" and now I know why. No hope of parking. We arrived 45 minutes before the appointment and I ended up having to drop my partner off (who was wearing pyjamas because she couldn't get dressed because she was in so much pain) outside the main entrance, No hope of attending the appointment with her as, when I managed to park she had already been seen. Also had my mother with me whom was in a wheelchair and has dementia. No hope of my partner being treated with dignity or respect as, she saw the doctor for a short time, wasn't listened too and hedidn't believe her when she said how much pain she was in, She has been left totaly distraught and I am so angry for her. This hospital car park is not fit for purpose and the doctor seen today needs to be retrained. He needs to learn to listen to his patients and not treat them like something in stood in. Totaly disgusted with the way my partner was treated and my experience of visiting this joke of a hospital.
