had a bad experience on a ward in November 2013 i was told by doctors could not eat any food as at the time they thought i may need a operation, I had no food for 2 and half days, staff did not always check how i was and i was feeling dreadful, the operation got cancelled as the doctors was having trouble finding what was causing the pain I was in,I kept asking staff when could I eat and most times it was you can not eat yet, when eventually i was told I could eat, a woman who was giving out meals to patients took the funnies with me, as a nurse gave me a small salad to eat i had no idea at the time it was meal time. the dinner lady said to me where i asked her nicely for food I had not eaten for 2 and half days the salad was not filling and could i have a proper hot meal, she said no you got yours i got other patients to deal with and if i give you any you can wait till i done the other wards first.I thought at this time it was a one of, following day she walked past my bed never offered me a drink or food and went to everyone else being nice and polite and ignored me, I got very worried because I felt she was doing this on purpose,my partner came to visit me I told him what was happening,he did not say anything to her though while he was near my bed she acted like she was kind to me, and when he turned his back was not so nice,my concern is if I had stayed there much longer I was in fear I was going to be starved by this lady and it was concerning me, she had me fill in a questionnaire the first day I arrived I could not do it I was too ill, yet she filled it in I hope she is not doing this to anyone else on the allerton ward..I have other concerns i need to write in a separate review on here
