"Still Waiting for Appointment"

I had all my pre-op examinations and tests on 2nd January but still have no idea when my op might be. I had a phone call last week after making several calls myself and leaving messages on machines, to say that I would probably have the date by last Friday. I didn't and still don't know when it will be. I am trying to make work, social and holiday plans for the next month or so but can't because of my hand op. Can anyone please tell me when my op (replacing finger joints due to arthritis) is going to be? Thank you!
