My Mum had her plaster incorrectly fitted which resulted in her being permanently disabled. Despite us going back over and over, they refused to admit it was wrong till they removed it after 6 weeks and asked why we hadn't been back to complain.
My husband had a missed fracture. After 4 months they finally x rayed him. 3 operations later they have still failed to fix it and he is now permanently disabled.
I have also heard similar stories from more than 5 of my friends.
All of these are within the last 3 years. In my opinion this department needs an urgent investigation. We have made a formal complaint. Everyone else I know is too scared to in case they refuse to treat them anymore as they are all desperate to get their pain solved.
