"Excellent stroke care"

About: North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust Royal Stoke University Hospital / General medicine

(as a relative),

My husband suffered what was probably a transient ischemic attack (TIA) and Sandbach ambulance was here within 5 mins and soon on the way to N Staffs where treatment was started immediately in A & E by a dedicated stroke nurse (Dawn). She was helpful, informative and caring. Transferred to ward 232 a couple of hours later.

The excellent care continued on this busy but efficient ward. I hadn't been to this hospital before and it was very modern, clean and easy to navigate. If you have to have an experience in hospital, this was a prime example of how it should be.

Many thanks to the staff and doctors of this ward.
