"So so service....."

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

Great care and kindness from triage nurse and GP that we saw. Nurses on ward were uncaring, unsympathetic and did not want to listen. Gave confusing advice on taking of medication - nurse said one thing, printed instructions said another. Were kept waiting for blood results for nearly 4 hours when told it would be 1 hour. All in all not a particularly positive experience. However I would like to say the receptionist in A&E, the triage nurse and the GP in minor A&E were lovely and thank you for your kindness and consideration.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry to hear that there was a contrast between nurses and other clinical staff in differing specialities within the hospital. If you wanted to contact us anmd let us know which ward you were on we would seek to address the behavioural issues that you experienced with nursing staff. The contact number for the Patient Advice and Liaison Service is 0203 299 3601 and email address kch-tr.PALS@nhs.net
