"my son's stay on Ward 11"

About: Freeman Hospital

Had to attend the Freeman Hospital children's ward last week for my son's tonsil adenoids and grommet procedure. We travelled over from Cumbria as a family my wife and I and our son he was in for at least 2 nights. The staff on Ward 11 were amazing my wife and I were allowed to stay on the ward for the duration of our sons treatment. Consultant junior doctors and theatre staff so helpful and caring made an extremely traumatic experience bearable. I can not recommend the hospital more highly. Only one slight blemish on an otherwise perfect review. Parking. Mind you that goes for most hospitals.

Dear Mr Lancaster, thank you for your very kind words about your son’s recent stay on ward 11. We recognise that any stay in hospital can be an anxious time for a child and their parents. We are very happy that to hear that, as a team, we were able to make your family’s experience as good as it could be. We acknowledge your comment about parking and can tell you that we continually monitor our facilities and make improvements to the service where possible. Thank you once again for taking the time to post your comments. They have been passed on to the team on Ward 11 who will be greatly encouraged by your feedback.
