"spinal ward m2"

About: Salford Royal

Medical care good. Nursing care poor. Appeared well staffed but seemed to be a case of if your not going to do it then neither am I. Returning from theatre bed still had sheets on it from 2 days previous. Despite repeated requests to remove two drip needles they were not done and I actually removed them myself and no one questioned who had removed them . They were removed on seperate days. Patients were treated as a hindrance particularly by one ward sister. Not a good quality for other staff to follow. On discharge told pain relief prescribed would take 3hours to come to the ward so don't bother with it.

Thank you for your comments about your recent stay on M2. I was sorry to read that you have a number of concerns about the treatment you received. We would like the chance to be able to investigate these issues further and would appreciate it if you would contact our PALS team (PALS@srft.nhs.uk) to discuss this in detail.
