"I couldn't have asked for more at the hardest and lowest period of my life"

About: Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust / Inpatient mental health care

(as the patient),

I went through an episode of psychosis at the age of 18 in the summer of 2012. After being wrongly diagnosed at Chorley Hospital I was finally sectioned and admitted to Ridge Lea Hospital in September of the same year.

I spent 28 days in Ridge Lea hospital where I got put on the correct medication and received more support than I could have asked for. The staff were really nice and understanding and always listened to my ridiculous ramblings. I couldn't have asked for more at the hardest and lowest period of my life.

Many thanks for this excellent feedback about the staff and care provided at Ridge Lea Hospital. I have made sure this has been passed onto all those responsible for providing this service. They will be delighted to hear what you have said about Ridge Lea.
